It’s that time of the year where we start to break out the white dresses. While wearing white is appropriate all year around, it really has its moment in the summer. Not only are white dresses so fresh for summer, but they are great for graduations, weddings, and any other outdoor social event.

The great thing about wearing white dresses is that you can keep the look minimal or monochrome by going head to toe white, or add some pops of your favorite colors in. With so many styles and fabrics to choose from, it can be overwhelming deciding which ones to buy. Today I’m sharing the best white summer dresses for elegant style.

Embroidered dresses are always a conversation starter. The intricate pattern and details is just stunning! One type of embroidered fabric is Broderie Anglaise (English Embroidery). This technique, where holes are cut, then sewn into cotton and made into patterns, originated in 16th century Europe. An old style that is still so relevant! Broderie cotton dresses make the perfect bridal dresses if you are looking to have a beach wedding, or outdoor ceremony. While I would not wear a white dress to a wedding that I am a guest at, (I’ll let the bride shine there!), I do love white dresses for any other occasion.

Wearing a midi length dress really lets the decorative eyelet pattern stand-out. Whether you love mini dress, midi, or maxi length, choosing one in eyelet is sure to be a stunner! Eyelet gives you the details needed for making an interesting outfit like a pattern would, but with an overall monochrome look.
