My blog name comes from the big fashion houses that have always, and continue to inspire me- Chanel, Prada, Dior to name a few. I love the creativity in design and use of fabrics that are sued. Most of us do not dress like this everyday, but there is something so inspiring and dreamy about the clothing these fashion houses create. To me it is not just about the clothing. It is art in the form of self expression. To wear what makes you feel good has such a positive affect on our souls. My goal here is to inspire the dreamer in you to curate your own personal look in every price range.
Personal Style
My personal style is classic with a modern vibe. I love taking classic pieces from my favorite brands and curating a timeless wardrobe. I prefer a more elevated look even when it comes to casual dressing. Elevated style is not always about luxury brands. It is about the look of luxe with how you put your outfits toegether. Feeling good in your clothes inspires confidence, and who doesn’t want that?
My Take on Trends
Trends can be a fun way to update to your look. They are however fast-fashion, which comes in hard and leaves just as quickly. I will play around a little bit with some of the current trends, however I will always use them to enhance my own classic style. My goal with The Fashion House Mom is to inspire you on how to use trends to update your own look, not to overpower it. I prefer taking a slow fashion approach which is more thoughtful in product design and has more longevity in wear.

And finally, I am The Fashion House “Mom” because being a mom is my first priority. However my style has not changed since becoming a mom. This blog is for moms and non-moms with a passion for fashion and a craving for inspiration.
