Inez Shoes Review: Comfort, Sizing & The Best Styles

I’ve been wearing Inez shoes for years, and I’ve owned everything from their heels and sandals to several pairs of boots. In this Inez shoes review, I’m sharing what keeps me coming back: the combination of style and comfort. Inez is one of the few brands I’ve found that makes heels I can actually wear for hours, thanks to the built-in arch support and cushioned insoles.

I’m sharing the styles I’ve personally worn, how each one fits, which I find most comfortable, and whether I think Inez shoes are worth the price.

Are Inez Shoes Worth It?

Yes, I think Inez shoes are worth it, especially if you wear heels but don’t want to give up comfort. I’ve owned multiple pairs for years, and what stands out most to me is the arch support and cushioning. They’re more comfortable than most heels I’ve worn, which is why they’re one of the first brands I go to when looking for heels.

Are Inez Shoes Comfortable?

Yes, Inez shoes are very comfortable. That’s why the majority of heels in my closet are from Inez. What makes them different is the built-in arch support and plush insole. You can actually feel the support under your arch. They truly feel good, and I can wear them out for an entire evening without even worrying. I have no problem wearing any of my Inez shoes all day.

Do Inez Shoes Run Small? My Inez Sizing Guide

For the most part, Inez shoes run true to size. They take particular care with their product descriptions and include fit with each one. I can tell you from experience that it is very accurate. If the description says it runs a little small, then you can feel confident in going up a half size.

Inez is one of the few brands that offers extended sizing. Most styles are offered in sizes 6-10.5, but a few styles are also offered in size 5. In addition to extended sizing, Inez offers multiple widths. I hear so often that some shoe brands run wide on people, while on others they run extremely narrow. It is so disappointing when you find a pair of shoes you love but they don’t fit quite right. Inez gives you the option of choosing from slim, standard, and roomy width.

Inez Heels & Sandals Reviews

Sofia

The Sofia sandals are the heels I reach for more than any other pair. They are my most worn heels because they are so elegant yet understated, making them perfect for so many different occasions. This soft gold is a great neutral for all of your spring and summer outfits, as well as your more formal winter dresses. The asymmetrical slim ankle strap gives support to your feet. These are a perfect choice for formal occasions when you want to add a bit of quiet shimmer to your outfit. These fit a little on the small side so if you’re in-between sizes, take a half size up. I wear 7.5 in these sandals.

Sofia Sandals in Crystal

The Sofia metallic sandals are modern Cinderella shoes with the crystal embellishment. They are the perfect occasion shoes for weddings or black-tie events. They even dress up a simple jeans and sweater outfit. The photos really don’t do these high heels justice- they are stunning!

The custom designed insoles cradle your feet just right, making them easy to wear for long periods of time. Like the gold Sofia heels I mentioned above, the fit is slightly on the smaller side. I take these in a size 7.5. I also noticed that the ankle strap on this crystal version is slightly shorter than the gold pair. Not an issue, but just a note.

Mia

I own the Mia pumps in both suede and leather. I reach for them when I want a classic pump that feels a little more feminine than a traditional closed-back style. They are an elegant slingback style with a beautiful low vamp. And while some pointed toe shoes can be uncomfortable, I find the Mia extremely comfortable. They have a flattering pointed toe with plenty of toe room. They fit true to size; I wear a size 7.

Isa Sandal

The Isa sandals were my first pair of Inez shoes and are the ones that got me hooked on the brand. While I wear them year-round, I reach for them most during the spring and summer. I wear these with everything from dresses, to pants, and jeans. I’ve even worn these to more formal events like weddings.

The super soft nappa leather hugs your feet in just the right way. They do run slightly small, so go up a half size. I wear a size 37.5 in this style.

Lola Pumps

If you’re looking for a classic pair of pumps you can wear for years, the Lola pumps are what you want. The beautiful pointed toe is not too narrow but is very comfortable. The 2.8 inch (70mm) heel is a very walkable height, especially with the plush insole and arch support. They are also versatile enough to wear from work to dinner. These fit true to size. I take a size 7 in this style.

Yvonne Patent Sandals

The Yvonne sandals are a simple neutral heel, but the patent leather makes them a little more interesting. I especially love them with matte textures like linen and cotton. The asymmetrical straps are minimal enough to work with just about anything, and I wear mine with dresses, pants, and jeans.

The fit is true to size and comes in standard width. I found the size 7.5 to be a little wide in the straps, so I opted for a size 7 and the fit is perfect. Take your true size unless you have a wider foot, then you may want to size up a half size.

Inez Boots Review

Inez Paz 70 Ankle Boots

The Paz 70 boots are the ones I reach for day or night. They truly are well made boots that I can wear all day without worrying about my feet. I own them in both burgundy and black. The 70mm (2.8 inch) block heel is covered with the same leather fabric as the rest of the shoe. I love the continuation of the leather for a seamless look.

Like all Inez shoes, these ankle boots have a plush insole with arch support. While you will likely get more wear with black boots, the burgundy color is such a statement for any ivory, navy, camel, or olive colored outfit. It’s the perfect pop of color.

They are so comfortable and run true to size. I say with boots to generally take a half size up so you can wear them with socks. I’m wearing a size 37.5 for a perfect fit.

Valentina Boots

The Valentina boots are the ones I reach for when I’m going out in the evening. The skinny heel makes them a bit dressier than the Paz. And the slim silhouette makes them easy to wear under both straight-leg and wide-leg jeans or pants. They fit true to size but if you’re in-between sizes, take the next size up. Especially if you will be wearing them with socks.

Mila Boot

The Mila boots are the ones I wear with dresses and skirts. They are the most-petite friendly tall boots I’ve tried. The shaft height sits just below the knee, so there’s no awkward rubbing against your knees when you walk. The height also allows you to tuck your straight leg jeans into them. They fit true to size but take a half size up if you plan on wearing socks. I wear a 37.5.

I’ve also owned the Carla booties for years, and they were one of my most-worn pairs of Inez boots. That style has since been discontinued, but they’ve held up beautifully and are part of why I’ve continued buying Inez shoes over the years. The Paz 70 boots are the most similar style that’s currently available.

 

Inez Vs Sarah Flint

I also own several pairs of Sarah Flint shoes. Both brands make very high-quality shoes and boots with arch support. The main differences between the two brands are in the sizing, design, and price-points.

When it comes to range of sizes offered, Sarah Flint wins. Sizes usually run from size 4-12.5. While Inez generally runs from 6 to 10.5, with a few exceptions. But Inez wins on width, with most styles offered in slim, standard, and wide. Overall, I think Sarah Flint runs narrower as a brand.

Compared to Inez, Sarah Flint has more classic shoe designs, where Inez is more fashion forward. Sarah Flint uses a lot of rounded toe shapes like on the Perfect zip booties, while Inez offers more tapered and square styles.

Price-point is the biggest difference between Inez and Sarah Flint. The Sarah Flint Perfect zip booties run around $595, while the similar Inez Paz 70 runs $385. I love my Sarah Flint Perfect zip booties! They truly are gorgeous boots. But if price is an issue, you will find more comfortable pricing with Inez all around.
