Christy Lynn Dresses

Christy Lynn dresses are for the modern romantic at heart. There is a reason her collections sell out so quickly. Designed with a slow fashion approach, Christy Lynn creates limited batches of timeless pieces for the modern woman.

The brand has an elevated yet effortless, formal yet relaxed, and dreamy yet approachable vibe that makes this brand so versatile. Christy Lynn dresses remind me of Zimmermann and a more subtle version of Ulla Johnson and Johanna Ortiz. The very organic and nature inspired prints combined with light fabrics makes for comfortable wearing.

What I love best about Christy Lynn dresses is that you can wear them to a formal event such as a wedding, or to a relaxed lunch. Either way, these memorable pieces will be the ones you reach for again and again. In a time where people are being more thoughtful with their purchases, a timeless dress like one of these will be your go-to occasion outfit!

Christy Lynn Collection Dresses

Let’s take a look at the new Spring collection inspired by Christy’s mother and how she kept Korean traditions and culture important throughout her life as an immigrant in America. Christy drew from her nostalgic cultural ceremonies in history. In addition, she studies traditional and modern wedding attire throughout the creation of the collection, where intricate design and embroidery are used. Here are my favorite Christy Lynn dresses from the new Spring collection.

Christy Lynn Saphina dress

First up is the Saphina dress. The Saphina dress is a stunner! Made from 100% linen, the corset style top satisfies your modern day Bridgerton dreams. This print is called Blue Garden and features a bold baby blue with an orange and pink floral design. The shoulder ties allows you to customize your fit. I love that option since I’m petite and usually need to adjust my straps. The corset style top also has elastic at the back to accommodate for variation in bust size. This is probably Christy Lynn’s slimmest fitting dress, as you will see the others are more relaxed in style. The Saphina dress is one of Christy Lynn’s classic pieces that she produces in a new print each season.

I love this dress for a Spring bride or as the ultimate wedding guest dress. Let this be your “something blue” to wear to your bridal shower. This is easy to style up with heels (I’m wearing my Sarah Flint Perfect Block Sandals. You can use code SARAHFLINT-CCTARA1 for a discount off your first purchase) and a beaded bag, or style down with slides and a straw tote. I’m already thinking of outdoor dining in this beauty!

This is my favorite dress of the bunch! The Sara dress has me dreaming of warm weather parties (the Nina dress is very similar). This versatile dress made from a gorgeous silk crinkle chiffon, can carry you from intimate dinners to larger celebrations. This red hibiscus print is just stunning. The choice of fabric makes this a softer color choice that that pops against a spring day. This dress is also available in other seasonal as well as a similar v-neck style dress.

I love this styled with the matching tie belt, or for a more casual look, wear this with a raffia belt and sandals. This comes with a matching slip dress to wear underneath (or as a night gown!). This style has a relaxed fit to it. Adjust the belt to cinch in the waist for a more tailored fit. I’m wearing a size XS for a comfortable and roomy fit. I’m also wearing this with my Inez gold sandals (15% off with code TARA15) and Pamela Munson clutch.

This Christian dress features the same Blue Garden print as the Saphina dress, but in a more covered option. The sleeveless style features 3 tiers of silk crinkle chiffon, a matching slip dress underneath, and loads of styling options. This dress reminds me of a Zimmermann dress with its flowing floral fabric. You can wear this tied at the neck or leave it open to reveal a little bit of skin. The Gemma dress is very similar in style but is a bit shorter.

Sunday brunch is covered in this sweet style. Have an outdoor event to attend? I love this dress for weddings and graduations. Add a bucket hat and sunglasses for an elevated casual look. I’m wearing size XS.

Christy Lynn Linen Dress: Lana Dress

The Lana dress is made of a beautiful and light linen fabric. And the color is just stunning! This pinkish-lavender hue features tonal florals and buttons all the way down the front. What I love best about this dress is that you can dress it up or down. I find that linen is such a versatile fabric that it can literally take you from day to night. This print (sold out) is also offered in the Luna dress and a a blouse. I love how Christy Lynn uses the same print for multiple fabrics and styles. You can really choice your favorite. Here’s a peak at some other styles that Christy Lynn offers:

Christy Lynn Collection Sizing

Christy Lynn Collection clothing runs from XS-XL. I wear a size XS and am generally a numerical US size 0. I would say that Christy Lynn size XS fits closer to a US size 2. Most of her pieces are meant to be romantic with extra fabric that flows.
