Welcome to the Sunday Musings October 2022 edition! The Sunday Musings is back after a brief summer hiatus. I was torn on whether or not to continue this series however it gets a very high readership, so thank you! This monthly post will give you insights on what to read, what to watch, and what to wear for the upcoming month! I always love to find inspiration on new things to enjoy. What to Watch

October is the month of halloween and I always love a little suspense! Premiering on Netflix October 13th, The Watcher is based on a true story of a New Jersey family who begins to receive threatening letters from a stalker soon after moving into their new home. This 7-episode series follows the couple as they move into their house in Westfield, NJ. They soon find out that this seemingly safe and quaint suburban neighborhood is not at all what is seems. Starring Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale.  I’m watching this one as soon as it airs!

What to Read

I’m a big big reader. I read at least one book per month. Since we are in the thick of spooky season, I love to read suspenseful books this time of year. The Housemaid is a new psychological thriller about you guessed, a housemaid. Millie has just taken on a live-in job with the Winchester’s. The landscaper tries to warn her away on her first day, Pericolo he tells her. But she doesn’t speak Italian… Her room is in the attic with a window no bigger than her hand. This book hooks you in right away with lots of foreshadowing. A definite must read if you love suspense!

What to Wear: Blazer

I have lots of fashion posts for you, but if I’m going to recommend one item to wear this October, it is the blazer! October is great blazer weather. It’s getting cooler but not freezing yet. I love to add a blazer over a simple t-shirt for a stylish but cozy option. Once the weather gets colder, you can add a coat for a nice layered look.
