Mini dresses are a summer favorite but they can be worn in spring as well. I especially love mini dresses with long sleeves this time of year. Having a little more covered makes your legs stand out even more. Plus it keeps you a tiny bit warmer. Once the weather warms up even more, mini dresses are great for everyday wear with your favorite sandals or sneakers. It’s an easy one and done look that’s effortless and polished. Midi Dresses For Every Occasion

My most worn and most loved dress length is the midi dress. I think it’s the most versatile option for wearing to so many more occasions. Most midi dresses are maxi length on me (I’m 5’2″) but they are still such easy dresses to wear. What I love about cotton fabric is that it can be a simple hem if needed. No worries about delicate fabric or asymmetric ruffles.

Tank dresses give you the option to layer a cardigan over your shoulders when the weather is still chilly. Otherwise having a little sleeve is perfect for spring.

Floral Maxi Dresses

The reigning queen of floral maxi dresses in my opinion is Christy Lynn. I adore her designs so much! Made for the modern romantic, her dresses are airy and full of movement. If you love Zimmermann then you will love Christy Lynn. Both brands are my favorites for unique floral prints. My print is no longer available but this floral maxi dress is available in a few other gorgeous colors.

Floral maxi dresses are a great choice for early spring. The weather begins to warm up but you still might want your legs covered.

White Eyelet Spring Dresses

Mother’s day and graduations are right around the corner, and white dresses are always in high demand. These are also great for a bride looking to have a casual or outdoor wedding. White dresses are always one of my favorite spring into summer wardrobe staples.

I love a long eyelet white dress paired with a tan belt and shoes to make the look a bit more casual for everyday style. It also adds a nice warm contrast.

Guipure Lace Spring Dresses

Ah guipure lace! I just love this fabric and always have my eyes out for it no matter the season. It’s a heavier lace with beautiful motifs and suits a variety of occasions. Versatility is key for a wearable wardrobe and this suits both casual occasions (wear with leather flip flops), to more dressier occasions. This ecru guipure dress has a straight fit (I’m wearing size 2) and is in a beautiful ivory color that is a bit warmer than traditional white. Eyelet is another beautiful textured fabric. It can be a bit lighter than guipure and a bit more casual. While I adore eyelet white dresses, getting an eyelet dress in a favorite color is another statement option. A great option to add to your spring dresses!

Formal Gowns

Sometimes you need something a little dressier and more formal. I love a statement gown for such occasions. They are not something you get to wear often, but when you do, they are memorable. These are two of my favorite gowns I have worn. The elegant black lace dress from Mestiza NY is one for the most formal events. This is perfect for a wedding or black tie event at any season, as well as a New Years eve gala.

The more spring appropriate floral gown is such a perfect dress! This may be my favorite print of all time (my print is no longer available but it is available in this gorgeous print). Do I say that a lot? I love my prints but this one really has it all. The color palette is divine! The tulle underlay makes this a twirl worthy option and the grandest of my spring dresses. So perfect for a spring wedding!
