Parisa Wang Grace Bag Review: Is It Worth It?

I own bags from Chanel, Chloé, and Saint Laurent, so I’m picky about handbags, and I’ve had my eye on Parisa Wang for a while. It’s one of those brands that makes eye-catching bags in a refined way. The hard part is that you can’t judge a bag without holding it. I wanted to know whether this was one that looks beautiful online, but ends up sitting on a shelf. In this Parisa Wang Grace Bag review, I’m sharing my thoughts after wearing it, including the quality, what fits, how it wears on my 5’2″ frame, and whether I think it’s worth buying.

My Quick Take

After several weeks of wearing the Parisa Wang Grace bag, I do think it’s worth it. It looks much more expensive than it is, but what won me over is the combination of the soft structure, how much it holds for its size, and the versatility of going from a top handle to the shoulder. For under $500, it’s quickly become one of my most-used everyday bags.

It’s best for someone who carries just the essentials and likes a structured bag that still feels soft and easy to wear. If you tend to carry a larger wallet, a water bottle, or a lot of everyday essentials, I’d probably recommend the medium size instead of the small.

First Impressions: Does the Parisa Wang Grace Bag Feel Luxury?

Right away, I noticed the beautiful hardware. It’s one of those details that immediately makes the bag feel special and was a big part of what drew me to this style in the first place.

Once I held the Grace bag, what stood out most was how soft and lightweight it felt. The leather has a plush feel, the stitching is clean throughout, and the feet at the bottom make it easy to set down without worrying about the base.

One thing that surprised me was how roomy the interior feels for the size. I also really appreciate the exterior pocket for quick access to my phone. That’s one detail I always prefer in everyday bags.

I chose taupe because my first choice, ivory, was sold out at the time. Taupe is one of the harder colors to wear because the undertones vary so much. This one reads more beige than gray and leans neutral. I don’t see strong pink or yellow undertones.

The easiest shoe color to pair with this bag is gold. When in doubt, I usually match my shoes to the hardware. I also think this taupe works beautifully with black, ivory, raffia in summer, and even dark brown. I treat it like a light neutral.

What Fits Inside the Parisa Wang Grace Bag

There are two open compartments inside with a zippered section in the middle. What’s also nice is the back pocket that’s great for storing your phone or keys for quick access.

It holds more than I expected for a small bag. For reference, it’s similar in size to my medium Chanel double flap bag, but actually holds a lot more because it’s not rigid or super structured. It is a little taller, and has an extra half inch in depth which makes it easier to fit more items without feeling too packed.

What the Grace Bag Looks Like on a Petite 5’2″ Frame

The small size that I own definitely does not overwhelm my 5’2″ frame. For me, the proportions feel just right. I also find the Grace bag is very comfortable to carry. The fact that you can wear it on the shoulder, as a crossbody, or as a top handle bag, gives you so many options depending on your outfit, the occasion, and how you like to wear your bags.

What I Like About the Parisa Wang Grace Bag

I like the softer structure because I’m generally not drawn to very rigid bags. I also love that the shoulder strap is removable so you can wear it as a true top handle bag. What I’d Change

The only real thing I would change is the shoulder strap length. I’m wearing it on the shortest setting, and I would like to be able to adjust it an inch or two shorter. But honestly it’s not a big deal.
