Family Gift Ideas For Christmas

Family Gift Ideas For Christmas

The big holiday sales are just a few weeks away. It’s the biggest time to start your holiday shopping. While some people start really early, most wait for the major Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Over the past few years, I’ve noticed that the holiday sales are starting earlier and earlier. To help get you ready and reduce the endless browsing online, I’ve put together a gift guide specific to different members of the average family. Maybe you already know what you’re gifting your loved ones, or perhaps you have no idea what to get the picky tween? Read on for some family gift ideas for Christmas.

Family Gift Ideas for Christmas

Instead of individual gifts, you may want to give one gift for an entire family. A true “family gift”. This gift should ideally be something that the whole family can enjoy together. This could be a practical gift like a gift certificate to a restaurant, or movie tickets. Another great idea is an ice cream maker. The whole family can decide what flavor to make, mix the ingredients together, and enjoy together once complete. Such a fun way to increase family bonds. We’ve had our ice cream maker for years and love it! It’s so easy to use. Here are some other family gift ideas for Christmas such as a grilled cheese toaster, games for family game night, and treats to enjoy.

Christmas Gift Ideas for Mom

It’s always fun to shop for moms! I like to think of what I would like to receive as a gift. Within reason of course! Keeping hobbies and likes in mind, you can go so many different routes. A special piece of jewelry is always a thoughtful idea. I love the idea of birthstone jewelry (using her birthstone or the kids birthstones) as a meaningful gift. Practical but still elegant gifts are also great Christmas gift ideas for mom. A cozy new robe, a pair of new pajamas (take 15% off at Printfresh with THEFASHIONHOUSEMOM15), or something special for the home. I love home decor and entertaining gifts!

Christmas Gift Ideas for Dad

The hardest one on the list, am I right? Gift ideas for dad need to be creative and thoughtful, and very useful. It’s likely that if he has any hobbies, he already has all he needs for them. So what to get dad for Christmas? My husband is currently loving any and all Rhoback clothing. The quality and design is excellent! He wears these performance hoodies literally all the time (they run true to size too)! Another great gift idea for dad is a portable bluetooth speaker. He can clip it to his golf bag, or any other item he wants to have near him while he’s listening to music, it’s great to travel with. Here are a few other ideas for him:

Gifts Ideas for Tween Girl

The tween years can get super hard to shop for. It’s that in-between stage where all kids are moving and growing at their own pace. Some still love toys, while others are trying their best to grow-up. Each of these tween girl gifts are fully approved by my own tween daughter. They should cover just about any stage of the tween girl years.

Gifts Ideas for Tween Boy

Tween boys are just as hard to shop for as tween girls. Again, each child is developing at a different pace and their likes and dislikes are changing quickly. It can be hard to keep up! Here are some approved tween boy gifts that my son gave the “thumbs up” to.

Family Gift Ideas for Christmas: Little Kids

Quite possibly the cutest age to shop for! I miss getting my kids all these really cute gifts. While this age range is not as picky about their toys, I still split my list by traditional little girl gifts, and traditional little boy gifts. There are just too many great gift ideas out there that I wanted to gather as many as possible for you without going overboard!
