I thought I would do a Sarah Flint shoe guide for you. I get lots of questions about sizing on instagram. Sarah Flint is a luxury shoe brand that is woman founded and made in Italy. Sarah prides herself on providing the highest quality of shoes. Here I will break down Sarah’s 6 top styles and let you know how they fit, and how I love to style them. Sarah Flint Shoe Guide
The Perfect Riding Boots
The Perfect Riding boots are pretty perfect! With their very walkable 30mm (1 inch) heel, arch support, and expandable calf, these boots are made for walking! The beautiful vachetta leather and gold-tone hardware add an elevated vibe to these knee-high riding boots. I’m wearing the Saddle vachetta which is a warm neutral that goes with literally everything.
These roomy boots have an expanded toe box so there’s plenty of room to add socks. Take these in your normal Italian shoe size (which is generally a half size larger then your US size). I love wearing these with straight leg jeans, dresses, or a skirt like this wool wrap skirt.
The Perfect Jay Pump
The Perfect Jay pump is perfect in every way. I love the tortoise heel with it’s slightly chunkier shape. It reminds me of Old Hollywood glamor. The main fabric choices available on the Perfect Jay pump are black suede and navy suede. This elegant heel comes in 2 heel heights- 85mm and 100mm.
I’m wearing the black suede in the 85mm heel height. It’s high enough without being too high in my opinion. Your Sarah Flint shoe size will, for the most part, be the same in every style with a few exceptions. I wear a size 37.5 in the Perfect Jay pump. For reference, I also wear 37.5 in Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik pumps, however in Stuart Weitzaman and Sam Edelman, I am most comfortable in a size 7. So I would say that Sarah Flint runs true to your Italian shoe size. In fact, did you know that Sarah Flint shoes are made in the same factory as Manolo Blahnik?
The Perfect Jay pumps are very versatile. I love to wear them with a stunning dress to add an extra elegance to the outfit. I also love them to dress up a more casual outfit. Which look to do prefer?
The Perfect Pump
The Perfect Pump is your more classic pump and is available in 3 heel heights– 50mm, 85mm, 100mm. There is a heel height to suit everyone and every occasion. The Perfect Pump comes in multiple color-ways and fabrics from leather, to suede, to jacquard. There is anatomical arch support, as in all the “Perfect” styles, a wider toe box, and 6mm of extra footbed padding.
Sizing will be the same as the Perfect Jay pump, and your regular Italian made shoe size. I wear this in 37.5 and have this pump in multiple colors and heights. In all honesty, the 100mm height is too high for my comfort. So when looking for a high heel, I will gravitate towards to 85mm heel height. For more casual occasions, like lunch out with the kids, I will choose the lower 50mm heel height. The 50mm height is also a great choice for work. You get the elegant look of a classic pump, with the comfort and height of a kitten heel. The styling options are really endless!
The Natalie Flat
The Natalie is Sarah Flint’s best selling shoe! It is a pointed toe alternative to a traditional ballet flat. The pointed toe gives such an elegant vibe. You can dress this up or down as well. This is a great work shoe, if you like to avoid heels at work. The leather bow details on the vamp gives a little something extra that makes the Sarah Flint Natalie flats so special.
Sizing runs true to size. I prefer these in a size 37.5, as I do my other Sarah Flint shoes. This shoe should fit comfortably snug as first, and will stretch a little with wear. Multiple styling options are available for the Natalie. Coming in a range of color-ways and fabrics, the Natalie is available in leather, suede, leopard calf hair, fabric, and glittery gunmetal lame! I have the Saddle and Sand colors which are the perfect neutrals.
Sarah Flint Shoe Guide: The Perfect Emma
The Perfect Emma has my heart as it was my first Sarah Flint shoe style. I first purchased it in size 37 however exchanged it for a 37.5 for a roomier fit. As I mentioned above, Sarah Flint shoe sizing runs true to your Italian size. The Emma has a block heel height of 50mm (2 inches). It’s a comfortable height for work, as for any occasion wear you want a lower heel height. The Emma also has arch support and 6mm of extra footbed padding, making them very comfortable.
As with all Sarah Flint shoe styles, the Emma comes in a standard set of color-ways that is available all year long, as well as seasonal colors. The two pairs of Emma’s that I own are in seasonal colors. The gray suede was available as a seasonal and limited edition color several years ago when I first got these. The black velvet version was a holiday edition. This season’s Emma is available in Espresso suede, as well as multiple other colors.
The Rosie
The Rosie is Sarah’s classic loafer. This casual shoe style is as comfortable as it is elegant. Its 30mm heel height makes it a slightly elevated alternative to a flat shoe. I take my regular Sarah Flint shoe size in this style- 37.5. The Rosie comes in multiple suede colors, and even in leopard calf hair. I love wearing Rosies to work with a pair of pants, or with jeans for a chic casual look.
The Perfect Block Sandal
The Perfect Block Sandals are by far my most worn Sarah Flint shoe! In fact, I did a full post on them here. I love these in the warmer weather. The block heel comes in 3 heel heights- 30mm, 60mm, and 90mm. I love the 30mm heel height for walks to the Farmer’s market in the summer. It’s almost like wearing a flat shoe but with a little bit of a lift. The 60mm heel height is my favorite though. It can be worn dressy or casual.
Sizing is true to your Italian sizing. I wear a size 37.5 comfortably. The Sand calf version is my favorite choice for a neutral option that can be worn with literally everything! If you are looking for a pop of color, try the seasonal Papaya Perfect Block Sandal with the raffia heel!
Perfect Zip Booties
The Perfect Zip booties are an ankle height boot with a 70mm (2,75″) heel height. This is one Sarah Flint shoe style where I recommend taking a half size down! In fact, these are very roomy and I wear a 37 in these. The heel height makes these great for dressier occasions as well as elevating a more casual look. These are fantastic with a skirt, dress, or under your bootcut or flare leg jeans!
