If you have ever gone to a medical spa for a facial or body treatment, you know that they often carry high-quality brands that you can only purchase from an authorized retailer. Many of these brands that Dermstore carries are now right at your fingertips!

Best Skincare Products to Buy at the Dermstore Sale:

SkinMedica- 20% off

My number 1 skincare brand! I love almost all SkinMedica products. I say almost all because I cannot use anything with fragrance in it. They do a pretty good job overall of keeping it out, with a few exceptions. The SkinMedica HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator is my holy grail skincare product! I notice a difference right away in my skins texture and moisture levels when using this product. The HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator contains five types of hydrators (including hyaluronic acid) to deeply moisturize and smooth your skin. Plus it’s fragrance free! This has almost entirely replaced my Skinceuticals Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier that I tend to use more in the summer. I do love to alternate products for the seasons. While the Skinceuticals HA serum is lighter and best for summer, the SkinMedica HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator is great all year around!

Another SkinMedica product I love is the Essential Defense Mineral Shield Broad-Spectrum SPF 35. I use this product every single day! Right after I moisturize, and before my make-up, I apply this all over my face. Sun protection is so important. Especially if you are using retinol products. This does not leave a residue and sits nicely under foundation.

For the body, I love the Firm & Tone lotion. This is supposed to boost collagen and elastin for smoother skin.

 

La Roche Posay- 20% off

I first discovered La Roche Posay while on my honeymoon in France almost 20 years ago. Back then, you could not get La Roche Posay in the US. I would stock up when I went, and ask anyone I knew who was going to France to pick some up for me. Now this popular French brand is available at most pharmacy’s in the US. Their products are great for sensitive skin. I use the Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser. This creamy cleanser does not strip your natural oils and is safe for sensitive skin.

If you have oily skin, the Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel Cleanser is great. My tweens use this. It’s gentle and feels like a more traditional foaming cleanser.

My favorite rich facial moisturizer that I use in the fall and winter months is the Toleriane Double Repair Moisturizer. It’s very moisturizing and makes my skin feel instantly great. I alternate this with the Toleriane Sensitive Fluide that I use in the summer months. It’s much lighter in texture and feel and is great for sensitive skin.

Best Haircare Deals From the Dermstore Sale

While Dermstore is known for high-quality skincare, they also carry lots of great hair products! From Oribe, to T3, Slip, and many more!

Oribe Hair Products – 2x points

My daughter and I both love Oribe hair products. It’ the ultimate in luxe haircare. We use the Gold Lust Repair and Restore Shampoo and Conditioner. I used to buy her a natural shampoo and conditioner from Whole Foods. Ever since making the switch to Oribe, her hair is much healthier! I’ve been using it for years.

Another must-have in my hair toolkit is the Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Cream. You can use this on wet hair before blowdrying, or on dry hair to smooth out any stray hairs. I like to finish off my hair with this. You only need a tiny amount to work through your hair to add smoothness and shine. I apply this right after I’m done using my curling iron.

I also use the Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil on my wet hair, prior to blow drying.

 

T3 – Up to 20% off

My go-to hair dryer for years is the T3 Featherweight StyleMax. I also have the smaller travel-size hairdryer to take with me on vacation. Less hairdryer space means more room for shoes!

If you have longer hair, you will love the extra long ceramic curling iron. This will give you an extra turn for a longer curl. Please note that this curling iron gets really hot. There are way too many heat settings in my opinion. You can keep the setting low and still get a great curl.

Slip – 20% off

Your beauty rest taken up a notch. Slips claims to improve hair and skin with their pure silk pillowcases. By reducing friction on the hair and skin, Slip can be considered an essential step in your beauty routine. Does it work? I’m not sure, but I do love the feel of these silky pillowcases! They come in queen size, and king size pillowcases.

Slip also has my favorite hair scrunchies. I find that these do not create weird creases in the hair.

Chantecaille – up to 20% off 

I’ve been a Chantecaille user since before my kids were born (I have 12 year old twins in case you didn’t know). I love that this is a mother-daughter brand. Chantecaille is considered a luxury brand. Flowers are at the root of a lot of their products. One of my favorites is the Future Skin Foundation. They call this a gel-like consistency although I find it to be more of a cream texture. It comes in a little jar where you can scoop out just what you need. I love the cooling effect this has on the skin, as well as the natural finish. It contains aloe and green tea extract. I wear shade Vanilla.

Another not-to-miss from this brand is their Faux Cils mascara. I recently was in need of a new one, and was at my local Neiman Marcus where I decided to pick one up (I could not wait for shipping!). The saleswoman was from another brand but was able to help me with my purchase. We joked a little about the price of this mascara, because it’s ridiculous. But I told her I’ve been using it for years and think it’s the best! I’m so happy it’s included in this year’s Dermstore sale!

Anastasia Beverly Hills- 20% off

A must-know brand for brows and eyes! Anastasia Beverly Hills has really carved out a niche for creating and defining great eyebrows. I love their brow pen for filling in my light brows, and adding much needed definition. It work like a pen and is great! I wear the color taupe. Next for full lashes, I love the Lash Sculpt & Lengthening Mascara. I switch between this one and my Chantecaille mascara- this one is a much better price-point!
