The Sunday Musings: March 2022 Edition

Welcome to the Sunday Musings! A quick read to enjoy while you drink your coffee or tea. This monthly post will give you insights on what to read, what to watch, what to do, and what to wear for the upcoming month! I always love to find inspiration on new things to enjoy. I hope this helps inspire you!

What to Read

Magnolia palace book

I absolutely loved The Magnolia Palace by Fiona Davis! Fiona Davis is a another go-to author of mine. This book takes place at the infamous Frick Collection in New York City. Taking inspiration from true historical facts, this book tells the tale of the museum, which was once the Frick family home, and provides a glimpse into America’s first real (however forgotten) supermodel.

What to Watch: Bridgerton!

Bridgerton season 2

It’s finally time to transport back to the Regency period of England and live vicariously through the Bridgerton’s! Season 2 will be released to Netflix on March 25th. Ladies rejoice! Time to get out the tea cups, the Aqua de Bendita dresses, and the pearls. But I’m sorry ladies, the Duke of Hastings will not be returning.

What to Do: Bridgerton inspired!

If you are feeling very much into the Bridgerton vibe, now through May 15th, Bloomingdale’s is hosting a Bridgerton pop-up shop! The good news is that you can explore and shop this event on-line. This curated shop features clothing, accessories, and home decor inspired by the widely popular Bridgerton series. All you need to host your own Bridgerton themed party. Here is just a taste of what you can expect to see at the pop-up:

What to Wear

Spring has almost sprung! We are so close. March is a funny month here in New Jersey. It’s usually just an extension of winter. That said, I’m prepped and ready for Spring. This is the time of year where tops are my main fashion focus. Easily paired with jeans, pants, or skirts, here are some tops to get you through to summer. As yes, they are Bridgerton approved!
