Stubbs & Wootton Sizing

When choosing your Stubbs & Wootton size, I recommend sticking with your usual European shoe sizing. Everyone has their own opinion on size, however I find that my usual size 37.5 works comfortably for both the mules and loafers. For reference, I wear a size 37.5 in Sarah Flint shoes, a size 37.5 in Jimmy Choo, a size 7 in Stuart Weitzman and Sam Edelman, and a size 36.5 in Gucci Ace sneakers (they run big!).

The mules have no backs to them so they will be your most comfortable option. I wore mine straight out of the box and kept them on all day. I’ve never done that with a pair of shoes before. That’s how great they feel. While the loafers do have a back to them, they truly are comfortable as well. A tiny bit stiff at first due to the backs needing to give a little, but nonetheless a good shoe to wear. In fact, the more you wear them, the more comfortable they get! I wear mine all the time.

 

Stubbs & Wootton Sizing Review: Classic Styles

Stubbs & Wootton has a core collection of classic styles. Whether you are looking to get your first or fifth pair, these classic styles are always in season. When Stubbs & Wootton reached out to me about working together, I knew that I had to start my collection with a classic mule. I chose the Basket Mule in gold. These head turners are more gorgeous in person!

What I love most about these, other than the comfort, is how versatile they are. These are truly a day to night shoe. I love how the woven texture compliments the gleaming gold color. These mules are a great way to elevate a daytime look, and add a touch of glam to your nighttime look as well. These also come in a loafer style.

Linen Loafers and Mules

The linen collection is my favorite texture for warmer weather shoe styles. Available in tans, beiges, pastels and candy colored hues, these are sure to make any outfit pop. You can choose a solid color or a fun embroidered detail.  I have several linen styles in my Stubbs and Wootton collection. I adore the colorful embroidered patterns. You can make a simple outfit pop or coordinate the colors. I find that linen softens a bit with wear and just gets more comfortable each time. Stick with your true European size.

Woven Straw Shoes

Woven straw shoes are a summer staple! The organic nature of the textured fabric pairs so well with summer styles. They are great for travel since they pack well because they are so light. These are also available in solid textures as well as fun embroidered designs. Sizing runs the same no matter which fabric you choose. I’m wearing the Philo natural woven straw slipper.

Embroidered Velvet Slipper Collection

I am excited for the new Fall and Winter textures. Velvets in rich textures and embroidered details gives a cozy and warm look to your outfits. There are so many beautiful styles to choose from. However my favorite has to be the Wish slipper in ink blue cotton/velvet with a grosgrain trim (similar velvet style slipper here). The embroidered dandelion detail makes these a fun way to dress up a casual look, or pair these with a dress for elevated comfort. Made in Spain, these indoor/outdoor slippers are much like a loafer featuring a stacked wooden heel under 1 inch. In fact, they are so much like a loafer, that’s how I’m referring to this style throughout this post.

Comfort is top notch with these. Again, Stubbs & Wootton sizing is true to your European size. Lined in leather, the insole is soft yet structured. These have already started to mould to my feet. Stubbs & Wootton x Scalamandré

When two incredible forces join together, a masterpiece is made! The House of Scalamandré is an iconic fabrics and textiles design house that has been creating beautiful fabrics since 1929. Well known and loved in the interior design world, this exciting partnership now brings their fabrics to your closet.

The Fall collection features Scalamandre’s tweed confetti fabrics. I love the tonal colors and the use of compliementary colors in their tweeds. The details in the woven fabric brings out complimentary colors so that you can really wear these with anything!

Tan Confetti Loafer

The Tan confetti loafer (similar ivory tweed loafer) is the perfect neutral for Fall. This is your go-to shoe to wear with all of your Fall outfits. To ease the transition of summer into fall, I’m pairing these with white jeans and a neutral striped top. Alternatively, you can pick out one of the colors in the tweed (such as the pink!), and wear a complimentary top with jeans. There are so many options here. If you are trying to decide on one pair of Stubbs and Wootton shoes, this would be my suggestion. Sizing runs the same with this collection.

Red Confetti Mule

This red mule is made with a warm red tweed fabric that leans slightly orange. This makes for a great shoe to wear for your Fall pumpkin photos! Stubbs & Wootton really makes the most comfortable mules. They do not slip when you walk, but stay on your feet as they should.

I’m pairing this with a navy floral dress for end of summer style. This mule also looks really great with jeans and a blazer for the cooler weather. Comfortable enough to slip on and wear everyday, the red confetti mules are an understated statement shoe!

Scalamandré Blue Confetti Loafer

 

Next up is my favorite color, blue! This blue tweed loafer has so many great colors woven into it. These are like wearing a favorite pair of jeans. They are super versatile and can be worn with everything from jeans, to twill pants, dresses, you name it.

I’m wearing this two ways here. First with a linen dress for a casual end-of-summer look, and second with Jacquard pants. I love pattern mixing to make a look stand out. By keeping the color palette the same, you can mix different patterns for effortless style.

Highland Tweed Slippers

Another great pair of tweed loafers! This ivory and gray tonal pair is the perfect winter white neutral. You can pair these with anything and everything. I love a go-to neutral shoe for everyday outfits.
