Mint Green for Spring

Mint green is a refreshing color for spring. After the long cold winter, I’m ready for some mood lifting colors! It’s one of those colors when you see it on clothing, that makes you take a second glance. It’s a bit unexpected and just gorgeous. Remember, green nature’s neutral. It goes with just about everything! Here are some of my favorite mint green finds for spring!

How to Wear Mint Green Clothing for Spring

Sweaters and Tops

Early Spring here in NJ usually means cooler temperatures. Light sweaters are essential unless you want to cover up in jackets. They are a great choice for adding texture and layers to an outfit. Pair your favorite mint green top with jeans and neutral accessories, for an easy casual look. Alternatively, you can wear your white or ivory jeans to really make the green pop! Bootcut jeans are a go-to item for me and what I wear on most days. I love how they can easily be dressed up or down. In fact I often quickly swap out my top and shoes for a last-minute dinner date. Being a mom of two, when I say dinner date, I generally mean a family date.  Family dinners in and out are generally very casual and comfortable. Jeans are a no brainer.

Mint Green Dresses for Spring

Dresses are a fun way to wear this color in spring. Whether it’s a small gathering, a date night, or a wedding, a mint green dress will surely stand out- in a good way! This color pairs beautifully with metallic heels for an elegant entrance.

Mint Green Shoes and Accessories

Creating a monochrome look with shades of green is beautiful. But if that’s too much for you, adding a bit of mint accessories to your spring look makes just as much of a statement. An all neutral outfit with a mint green shoes or a bag would be an effortless way to add in some color.

Mixing pastels

Don’t be afraid to experiment with other pastels too. I really love mixing colors together. Mint green is a great base for many other colors. Lavender would have to be my favorite pastel to pair it with. If this doesn’t scream Spring, I don’t know what does!
