LAKE Pajamas is known for their ultra soft pima cotton pajama sets. This preppy brand is full of stripes and florals in soft muted tones. I’m partnering with LAKE Pajamas today to share their latest Fall collection. This is one for the minimalist who loves neutrals! First, let’s dive into the basics you need to know about this brand!

LAKE Pajamas Fabric

It all started with a classic stripe and 100% Peruvian Pima cotton fabric. Peruvian cotton is known for its softness and durability. Plus its breathable, allowing you to feel comfortable whether you are a hot sleeper or a cool sleeper. Pima cotton is a bit like a little luxury that brings comfort and coziness.

While pima cotton is widely used throughout each collection, LAKE has also introduced crisp cotton poplin that is cooling, their Dream knit fabric which is silky in texture, and Turkish cotton robes. All of the fabrics they have chosen to use are light and breathable!

Can I Put My Pajamas in the Dryer?

LAKE recommends that you machine wash your pjs in cold water, and lay flat to dry. This will help keep your pajamas looking fresh and lasting longer. However, if you are like me, I don’t have much time for air drying (unless it’s strictly necessary). I always put my pajamas in the dryer on medium-low and they have lasted just fine. LAKE does disclose minor shrinkage, mainly in length when machine drying. I have not noticed but my mom said hers did shrink a bit. So what size should you buy?

LAKE Pajamas Sizing

Overall, Lake pajamas are true to size. They have accounted for the minor shrinkage in the design of the pajamas. So if they feel a little large on you, that’s why. I wear a size XS and they are so comfortable! If you are in-between sizes and like a roomy pajama fit, I would size up. Especially if you will be machine drying your pjs. Otherwise, stick to your usual size.

New Fall Pajamas

The new Fall collection is their most neutral palette yet! New hues like the Driftwood Stripe, is a calming taupe and white. It coordinates perfectly with your morning latte. Other colors in the collection include a classic navy (always a neutral!), and a light soothing orchid.

I chose the Pima Weekend Long-Long set (long pants with long sleeves). I have this pajama set in a few other colors and it’s my favorite one from their collection! It’s super soft and cozy, while still being light enough to keep a comfortable temperature. Due to the higher neckline of this set when compared to the Pima Short-Long set (short sleeves, long pants), I find that this one runs truer to size. The lower scoop neckline of the Pima Short-Long set runs a tiny bit larger. Keep this in mind when decided which size to purchase. And the holidays will be here before we know it. Pajamas always make a great gift!

Lake Pajamas Holiday Collection

The new Holiday collection is out and it’s perfect for the winter season. The collection features matching family pjs, plush bathrobes, and some more less traditional but classic winter options.

I’m wearing the pima cotton pajama set in Blue Snowflake, along with the new Cozy Robe in Cloud Blue. Both pieces are super soft and cozy. The robe is nice and plush and a bit thicker for the cold weather season ahead. I noticed very minor shrinkage with the pajamas set after washing. The XS still fits perfect though. Take your true size, or if you like them extra roomy, size up! I’m also wearing the robe in size XS.
