Best Bottega Veneta Pouch Dupe

Every season has it’s “it” bag. This Fall the Bottega Veneta “pouch” is the bag of the season. Fashion insiders are crazy over the Bottega Veneta pouch. A big plush oversized clutch. It is super luxurious in look and feel. Also in price. I’ve found a perfect dupe that is just as luxurious but a little more budget friendly.

You may be on the waitlist for your favorite Bottega Veneta pouch color to come back in stock, or you may be looking for the perfect dupe. This is by far the best one I’ve found and it’s from one of my favorite leather goods brands- Mansur Gavriel. Mansur Gavriel is a New York brand that produces its products in Italy. Known for their beautiful bags and shoes in an assortment of pastel and jewel tone colors. I wear this of summer mules all the time. They are one of my most comfortable. When I saw they have a very similar bag to the Bottega pouch, I jumped on it! This clutch currently comes in black with a red interior, or a soft pinkish coral. You will have to act fast though as the craze is real. These are also quickly selling out and waitlists are forming!

Function

Function is most important when it comes to handbags. You have to have a bag work for you, not against you. As a mom, my thoughts on bags has changed slightly. Straps are great for when you need to be hands free, and when you have young kids, that is pretty often. Now that my kids are getting a little older, I find that I’m able to use a bag like this again. Both the Bottega Veneta and the Mansur Gavriel bags have a roomy interior that holds a ton. The fact that it is squishy lets you pack in what you need. In fact, I’m liking the feel of the soft leather held up under my arm. It’s oddly comforting.

Will I break down and get a Bottega Veneta? It’s not clear yet. The color selection is really to die for. Something to suit every style and preference. They are impossibly dreamy. I love this little mini option. For now, I’m more than happy with this black Mansur Gavriel as a close dupe (this is another great alternative here). I just hope that they add more colors to their collection.
