White Eyelet Top Outfit for Spring

A white eyelet top is a Spring necessity. It’s one of the most versatile warmer weather tops you can own. If you are looking for a top that you can easily pair with a variety of outfits- jeans, shorts, skirts, pants, you name it, then you’ve got it in an eyelet.

A white top is a wardrobe staple in most women’s closets. They are simple, stylish, and can be dressed up or down. If you are looking for a fun alternative to a white shirt, I would suggest trying an eyelet. It’s pretty, feminine, and a bit more playful than your standard white top. I like to have both a long-sleeve and short-sleeve version to swap out depending on the weather. Early Spring in NJ is always a little cooler so the long-sleeve version gives me the springtime vibes while still covering my arms. In the warmer months, a short-sleeve eyelet top is a perfect barbecue party outfit paired with some shorts.

How to Wear Eyelet Tops

Pair with White Jeans

Pair your white eyelet tops with white jeans for a spring monochrome look. Adding in some darker neutral accessories keep the look organic and minimal. Feel free to add your favorite color accessories to add in a pop of color!

Pair with a Skirt

Eyelet pairs beautifully with skirts. Choose a midi skirt for a timeless look that you can wear from brunch to dinner. Or try a mini skirt and flat sandals for a cute spring outfit. I love this outfit for a vacation dinner.

Wear with Shorts

Eyelet tops add a special texture and detail to outfits. Pairing one with shorts makes for an easy, breezy spring to summer transitional look.

White Eyelet Top with Jeans

A classic white top and jeans is my go-to uniform. For spring, try a short sleeve eyelet top with crop jeans. I love this pair of floral embroidered crop jeans. Not though that I am 5’2″ and these are jeans are really not cropped on me. I actually find the length perfect for wearing with ballet flats or very low kitten heels. I take a size 2 in this style.

Mix Patterns with Printed Pants

Eyelet adds a tonal pattern to your look. It gives you the opportunity to mix pattens in a very subtle way. When choosing warmer weather pants, I always look to linen or cotton. They are breathable and comfortable for the warmer weather. If printed pants are not for you, these solid pants would be great to pair with a white eyelet top. And they come in petite, standard, plus, and tall sizes!

My featured outfit is a little on the dressier side. I think it would be perfect for a lunch date or even for the office. I love how the printed pants give a subtle pattern play when paired with the eyelet top. My heels are older from Tibi, but here is a beautiful pair of mint green slingbacks that’s perfect for spring! Even black flats work with this outfit. Feel free to dress up as much or as little as you like. If you are looking for a more casual look, jeans are always a great companion to eyelet!
