Veronica Beard pants are timeless wardrobe staples. Always so well-made and tailored in such a modern way. You can count on them for being stylish and always on pointe. The brand is so well known for their blazer jackets, I wanted to share more about their pants. If you are looking to invest in a great pair of pants or jeans, I’m sharing the scoop on a few of their most popular styles and why I love them.
About the Veronica Beard Brand
The Veronica Beard brand was founded by sisters-in-law who are married to brothers. Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard both had a vision to create clothes with the modern woman in mind. It all started with the iconic Dickey blazer. Meant for every occasion, the dickey blazer can very easily be dressed up or down. The interchangeable dickeys are what makes this jacket so desirable. Being able to swap out a hoodie for a cable knit turtleneck makes this so unique. Plus it supports the “buy better, buy less” mentality. Having one good blazer that you can wear multiple ways simply by swapping out a dickey is great! The Veronicas know all about juggling it all, and wanted to help make it a bit easier by creating beautiful, and multi-functional clothes.
The brands overall aesthetic is effortless and refined. You can find timeless yet of-the-moment details that you can’t find anywhere else. They bridge modern and classic so well. You really feel good and understood in their pieces.
The Veronica Beard brand is also big on paying it forward. Every quarter they partner with a cause that supports women children, and families. The charitable program is called #VBGIVESBACK and so far has raised over $3.5 billion. I love it when brands give back. It makes supporting them feel all that much better!
Veronica Beard Pants
Every outfit starts with a base. Sometimes pants are overlooked by fun tops and beautiful sweaters. Let’s be honest, pants can sometimes be boring. But they really can change an overall look of an outfit. It’s good to have a go-to style that you can wear with most tops in your wardrobe. The easiest example is having a pair of great black pants. You want to feel good and look good in them. Plus get lots of wear out of them. Let’s dive into some of Veronica Beard’s popular pants styles.
Veronica Beard Renzo Pants
The Renzo pants are my favorite and the most classic style of the bunch. This style has been around for years so you know it’s good! The overall look is very polished and professional but can also be styled down for a more casual look. I love these pants for the office as they are an easy day-to-night transition. I’ve worn these with both pumps and ballet flats, and they look great either way!
The Renzo pants come in a variety of seasonal and classic colors. The classic colors being black and navy blue. A feature that I love (that Veronica Beard also does with some of their blazers), is offer these pants in either silver or gold buttons. Since these pants are on the higher price-end, it’s great that they offer a choice to suit your personal style and accessories. The button tab feature at the front not only adds a special character and detail to the pants, but also adds comfort and a bit of give at the waist.
The sizing on the Renzo trousers is similar to other Veronica Beard pants. I’m wearing a size 0 for a comfortable fit (my usual jeans size is 24. The slightly cropped length is a great plus for us petites, as most full length Veronica Beard pants run rather long. Overall an A+ for these!
Beverly Flare Jeans
These jeans are such a classic from the Veronica Beard collection. Just like the Renzo pants, I’ve had my Beverly Flare jeans for years. They are slim fitting down the thigh and have a slight flare at the lower calf. These are a great in-between style for straight leg and wide leg jeans. They are slimmer than wide-leg jeans, but have enough flare that they are wider than a straight-leg. You can check out my previous post on how to style wide-leg jeans to get you inspired.
I reach for these jeans any time I want a polished look. These are my go-to casual jeans for a dinner out. Plus they are easily dressed up with a cozy sweater and pumps! There’s not much stretch to these so keep that in mind when deciding how you like your jeans to fit. I take my usual jeans size 24. Running long, most petites will need to get these hemmed. It does not take away from the flare though.
Hibiscus Scuba Pants
Another pair of Veronica Beard pants I’ve had for years! I really love how they keep producing popular styles. The Hibiscus Scuba pants are a sleek, form fitting style with a slight flare at the hem. They are much like the Beverly Flare jeans but in a pants version. They are made with a lightweight stretch fabric so are very comfortable.
These run true to size but you may need a hem if you’re short like me (I’m 5’2″). Since they are form fitting, I like to wear these with a chunky sweater or a blazer to balance out the look. Overall these are super comfortable but have a slimmer fit than the Renzo pants down through the thigh.
Veronica Beard Corduroy Pants
Veronica Beard has several different pant styles in corduroy fabric. Corduroy is a casual yet polished alternative to wearing jeans. Plus they are soft and warm in the winter. In the colder winter months, I love the feel of corduroy. I think it’s much cozier than jeans. The corduroy used is very flexible and soft, not stiff at all.
I’m wearing the Beverly Flare corduroy pants. I love this flare style for wearing with boots. They just layer so perfectly underneath. Plus it keeps these looking very modern. Take your usual size with these. The fit is the same as the Beverly Flare jeans version (but more comfortable!). This style does run long (I had mine hemmed).

Veronica Beard is sold at most major department stores and through their own site. Just take note that newer pieces in the collection are most likely available at the Veronica Beard website first, before being offered at other retailers.
