Maggy London's Little Black Dress

Holiday dressing season is upon us! This time of year has to be the busiest for festive parties and dressier events. I immediately think of little black dresses, beautiful textures, and sparkly details! I also think of Maggy London. Having a dress that I can rely on really saves me when it comes to multiple party and event invites.

When Maggy London reached out to me to do a collaboration, I was so honored. It is such an iconic brand that translates to the classic woman. I chose their best-selling Illusion dress. Although I love all of Maggy’s dresses, this one is my favorite. It’s a chic version of the little black dress. I am so happy with the selection of sizes and I think you will be too. Generally I fit best in a petite size, which is not very easy to find. I usually wind up spending more money with having to do alterations. This petite version fits like a glove! That’s so refreshing! Maggy London also has a plus size line. Big applause for Maggy London for thinking of all women! We are not a one size fits all!

I love a classic little black dress for just about any occasion. It’s flattering to any skin tone and goes with a multitude of accessories. Keep it simple with black pumps as I have done here, or let your personality shine through and add a pop of color with a red heel. Just have fun with it!

The downward shape of the back v-neck also adds to the classy allure. I think that Audrey Hepburn would definitely approve!
