Effortless Style in Ba&sh

The French clothing brand Ba&sh, is a go-to of mine for effortless style. Today I’m styling two items from their latest collection is an easy, casual way. If you’re not familiar with Ba&sh, (you can read my other post here) the brand was created by founders Barbara and Sharon. A brand made for women by women. The easy Parisian style of Ba&sh is equal parts playful and elegant.

Ba&sh Dresses

As you may already know, I am a dress lover overall. But Ba&sh really has feminine carefree dresses down pat. Their use of fabrics is always light, airy, and romantic. But in a very modern way. This dress I’m wearing is called the Alienore dress (similar version here). It’s so effortless in the way that it moves with you. Lightly flowing, with the ruffles at the sleeves and hem. The delicate dot print is slightly vintage and very charming.

Made from viscose, it is light in feel and perfect for all seasons. I love this for Spring/Summer but equally love this for Fall/Winter by adding boots and a long duster coat. This is a dress you will reach for time and time again. Think of dinner dates and parties!

The next dress has a more casual vibe to it. Think of a t-shirt dress but better. Perfect for anyone on the go who needs to be casual but wants to look polished. This is the Erika dress (similar longer version here). I’ve paired it with my Gucci sneakers (see my previous post about Gucci sneakers) but I also love it with slides like these here. It’s a great get-up-and-go dress with a little added touch in the wrap belt. The silver buckle adds a modern twist to an otherwise classic t-shirt dress. Think of this one for summer camp drop-offs, impromptu lunches, or browsing the local Farmer’s markets.

Sustainable fashion

In addition to making accessible French style, Ba&sh has pledged to prioritize materials that are certified organic, recycled, or ethical. By 2023, Ba&sh expects all of their collections to be 95% eco-responsible. In addition, their paper packaging is made from recycled and recyclable cardboard, sourced from sustainably managed forests. I love that they are thinking of the future!
