I love a pop of pink with an all neutral outfit. Choosing a soft pink gives an almost tonal effect. It’s a really easy way to add any color to your outfits. Stick with a neutral base outfit and add any color you like!

You can add pink with accessories like a pink shoulder bag, a pink silk scarf, or go with a patterned sweater with pink accents like this striped sweater. How to Look Classy in Pink

Choose the Right Shade

One of the most beautiful things about pink, is the wide range of shades available. From soft pink, dusty rose, muted mauves, and brighter tones, there is a shade of pink for everyone. You can find one to suit your skin tone.

Pair Pink With Neutrals

Neutrals are a classic wardrobe staple. They are the foundation pieces that let you easily wear other colors. Pair your pinks with neutrals like camel, beige, ivory, gray, black, brown, and navy. I even consider denim a neutral that pairs well with everything. These colors help balance pink.

Layer Different Shades of Pink

Layering different shades of the same color can have a dramatic yet soothing effect. Choose different textures to break up the look. For example, wearing light pink pants with a light pink wool sweater, and a rose pink coat or scarf can be very elegant. Opt for neutral shoes if pink is too much for you.

Focus on Accessories

Accessories are my favorite way to incorporate color into outfits. It’s not overwhelming and can pop against an otherwise neutral look. You can style a pink bag with a brown sweater, brown pants, and brown boots, or add pink shoes to your classic white shirt and jeans outfit.

Wear a Statement Piece

A pink coat or blazer worn over a neutral outfit can make a chic statement without being “too much”. For more style inspiration on this, check out my other post on “how to style a pink blazer“. There are so many classy ways to wear it!
