Beyond By Vera Clothing Review

In my constant quest for the best brands that offer truly beautiful and comfortable products, my love for Beyond By Vera has grown. Once the warmer weather starts, I begin to gravitate towards naturally light fibers like linen and cotton. Trying to find clothing that is unique and flattering can be daunting when comfort is key. Today I’m sharing my review of the emerging brand, Beyond by Vera, and what makes them so special.

Beyond By Vera Clothing Review

Beyond By Vera is the clothing brand behind the Austrian designer, Vera Fritsch. Vera moved to India in 2007 to support a diplomatic mission. While there, this new landscape full of rich heritage and colorful fabrics, led Vera to collaborate with local artisans and build her small business. Her love for travel and storytelling led her create a clothing line that captivates the dreamer in all of us. Each new collection is inspired by a location with its colorful prints and dreamy fabrics. You will see classic pieces in new prints, as well as new styles added each season. This spring 2024 season, Vera is transporting us to Italy with her stunning collection reminiscent of an Italian summer.

Vera now lives in New Delhi, where her dedicated atelier that creates her beautiful collections is located. Each print is hand-drawn and hand-screen-printed. Keeping sustainability in mind, all fabrics are sourced from local family-run mills. You will love that each piece is hand stitched and truly one of a kind. A luxury in the fashion world!

Beyond by Vera Mia Dress

Beyond by Vera Mia smocked dress

The Mia dress is a true classic smocked midi dress. Its tiered A-line silhouette and ruffle detail at the waist is equally charming and alluring. The self-tie shoulder straps ensure the perfect fit every time. This dress is a true day to night style. Wear this with flat sandals for afternoon exploring, then switch to heels for al fresco dinners.

The Mia dress is available in several new prints this season. I’m wearing the Positano Lemon print, taking inspiration from the Positano coastline. Playful pink and yellow botanical prints nod towards the colorful beach umbrella’s found in this charming coastal town. I’m wearing a size XS and I am 5′ 2″ (62 cm). You can see that the length is petite friendly. The Mia dress is a classic you will reach for time and time again. Wearing this with the Palm Beach sandals (20% off 1st purchase of $175 or more with THEFASHIONHOUSEMOM) and the Lady Jane bag.

Puff Sleeve Gloria Top

Beyond by vera puff sleeve Gloria top with linen pants

A great top is a wardrobe essential. It’s the bridge between casual and dressy. The Gloria top features a flattering square neckline, a smocked bodice for extra comfort, and 3/4 sleeves that can be worn on or off the shoulder. A perfect day to night top! Pair this with jeans for a casual outing, linen pants for an effortless cool vibe, shorts for a cute but classy look, or the matching skirt. You will love the soft, breathable cotton fabric and statement prints! Depending on which bottom style you choose, you can wear practically any shoes with this. I’m wearing these cork wedge sandals with linen pants and a white clutch for an understated but elegant vibe.

Louise Dress

Beyond by vera dress review

The Beyond By Vera Louise dress gives off a vintage vibe with its sweetheart neckline and buttons down the front. The eyelet trim along the neckline is such a special detail! This dress features a light, soft breathable cotton and is lined. In addition, smocking detail at the back provides a flexible fit. This charming dress is available in 3 fabulous prints. I’m wearing the Grand Villa Cobalt print which is inspired by garden parties hosted in the grand villas of Lake Como. This print might just be my favorite of the collection. Lucky for us, it’s available in several different dress styles. This dress is also a day to night style. I love the versatility of these dresses. Worn here with the Isa sandals (15% off with TARAFM15) and Isabelle raffia bag.

Off-the-shoulder Maria Dress

I love versatility when it comes to dresses. The Maria dress can be worn on or off the shoulder. This makes it great for day or night. The maxi length has a ruffle detail at the hem which gives this a bit of a dressier vibe. The light and breathable cotton fabric makes this dress so comfortable to wear. Plus this print is so good!

The smocking detail at the bust keeps the fit flexible and comfortable. I’m wearing a size XS and the fit is great. The smocking offers some stretch if needed. Overall a great dress to wear to a wedding or graduation! Wearing this with the Lady Jane bag and Isa sandals (15% off with TARAFHM15).

Beyond By Vera is a not-to-miss emerging brand for the lover of beautiful design. You know by now that I enjoy sharing quality clothes, for example my beloved Sezane clothing, and appreciate good design and style. This is one of those small brands that I see gaining a lot of traction in the fashion world. Beyond By Vera is now a go-to source of mine for incredibly beautiful and effortless style. If you want to see of few of these dresses in motion, head to my instagram reel and see me wearing these pieces in Palm Beach! They were so easy to wear in the Florida heat!

Would love to know about the sizing. I am either a XS or small. The items from the website I’m interested in are on sale so I can’t return and am afraid to take a chance. Any advice?
    thanks, Sherry

Hi! Did you check the “size & fit” details on each product page? Each style runs a little bit different. Anything with smocking will have a more flexible fit and fits more true to size. I’ve found that the other items run pretty true to size but slightly large. Which ones are you looking at?
