Get This Fendi Inspired Look For Less

I love re-creating runway and luxury looks for less. I find it exciting to take high fashion and make it approachable. This Fendi inspired look for less is way below Fendi prices but is still elegant and luxe looking. You can easily wear this look out to a dinner party or a night on the town.

I first spotted this look in the on Fendi.com. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to re-create it. Then I was browsing Harper’s Bazaar magazine and spotted the look again as a Fendi ad. It’s so dramatic and leaves you to wonder at first glance, “where do I wear that”? With a little tweaking of textures, this Fendi Fall look is actually wearable in real life.

The Wrap Top

Some version of a wrap top can be found in almost any brand and at any store. The difference will be in the details. This wrap top from has the same tie detail as Fendi. The addition of the puff sleeves makes me love it even more than Fend’s version. I can’t get enough of puff sleeves this year (as seen here)! This is the easiest piece to re-create, the high price tag is not necessary when there are so many options out there. If you are new to Ganni, they are a Danish brand and have Danish sizing. I’m wearing a size DK34 in this top which is equivalent to US 2 (although I’m usually a size 0 and this fits me great. Just to keep in mind their sizing may run a bit small). In any event, a wrap tip should be easy to find if you don’t have one already!

The Green Skirt

Green is a big this 2019 Fall/Winter season. All shades of green are fair game. This emerald color with it’s jewel like tone is a statement of it’s own. A green skirt is sure to be a stunner for any event. Fendi’s version is made with patent leather. That texture in a skirt form screams boldness and confidence. To be honest, it is too much for me. I prefer a more classic silk texture. This silk slip skirt I’m wearing is from Rebecca Taylor and is a classic dupe. This can be skirt is available to purchase or for a more budget friendly option, you can rent it for the month like I did from Rebecca Taylor RNTD. To get your full month’s money’s worth, wear this with a tee too for a super effortless chic look.

Those Boots!

Shoes are usually considered the finishing touch when it comes to any outfit. But I like to consider shoes first. The wrong shoes can really break an outfit. This Fendi look calls for knee-high glossy taupe neoprene boots. A stunner for sure but not very wearable in real life (just my opinion). I did do a thorough search for a similar but subdued boot. In the end, I opted for my black knee-high boots since I already had them and they look great. This is a Fendi inspired look for less after all…
