Coordinating with Rebecca Taylor

 

Friends who coordinate together stay together.  Or at least look cute together!  Laura of  and I decided to do another fun post together, this time in coordinating Rebecca Taylor outfits.  Rebecca Taylor is such a go-to brand for me.  I know I can always count on top quality, beautiful prints, and feminine details.  Also, for those of you who are petite like me, I can usually get away with not having to do any alterations in length (if planning to wear heels of course).  That’s a huge plus!  There are some brands out there where I know I will be in for hemming a foot off the bottom!

These two coordinated looks are perfect for a day-to-night transition.  We wore ours for a day out in New York city but could easily be worn for a night out as well.  I love that about Rebecca Taylor.  She really makes getting dressed so easy! Laura and I are both wearing the same faux fur jacket with a slight peplum hem.  It’s a fun detail that makes it a little more special.  What I love most about this jacket is that it can work extremely well with jeans, while also being cocktail party appropriate.  I love versatile options.  We work hard ladies, let’s get our money’s worth!

While our pants are different, they are both velvet florals.  I’m wearing the  version which has a wide leg, while Laura is wearing the Tilda version which has a straight cropped leg.  Both are very flattering.  In fact, these pants are so comfortable that they are currently on my regular rotation.  I love them paired with a sweater such as  one or with a nice light blue one such as this. I have also worn it with my pink blouse from Sezane I wore .  It’s really one of those pairs of pants you will wear over and over again.

Since we are still loving the white boot trend (is it still a trend anymore? I think it reached classic status), we wore ours here.  I love how a white boot adds a nice pop of brightness to any outfit.  You can also wear black boots with this look and it would be equally flattering. It just depends on your mood.  And of course we had to wear our white Shrimps bags.  If you read this post then you will know how much I love this bag!
