Coral is Pantone’s named 2019 color of the year. Pantone is the authority on color trends in fashion, home decor, and more. From vibrant orange hues to subtle pink, all shades of coral are popping up everywhere. Here’s how you can add this colorful tone to your life!

Two themes are popping up this season- coral and tropical prints. Both give a summer island feel and are great for your next vacation get-away. While both are beautiful on their own, mixing the two trends packs a real powerful punch! Speaking of punch…

Tropical punch is what came to mind when I saw this set. Yes, it’s a set that looks very much like the on-trend utility suits but more feminine I think.  Utility suits are also really big this year. If you are not into the adult onesie look, try a matching set instead. You still get the overall look, but it’s easier to get in and out of.

Coral is such a unique color. Since the range of coral can be anywhere from a bold orange hue to a pretty subtle salmon pink, it suits any skin color. A bold palette such as this set I am wearing, really looks great when broken up visually. That is why I have added my favorite that seems to go with everything this season. It adds interest to the outfit and draws attention to the waist for a slimming effect.

You probably know by now that I love matching sets because you can break them up and have a whole new outfit. If head-to-toe island vibes are too much for you, this top will also look great with a pair of jeans. It’s a fun way to incorporate a bold tropical print or vibrant coral in a little more low-key way.
