Today I am introducing you to the French style brand, Ba&sh. What is it about French girl style that draws us in so much? Is it the effortless cool factor? The romantic idea of living in the City of Lights? French women seem to have been born with style. French brands are popping up in the US lately and have definitely caught my attention. By the way, I learned the difference between Parisienne and Parisian. Parisienne refers to a female native or resident of Paris, while Parisian refers something relating to Paris. There’s a French lesson for you!

If you read my previous post here about the French brand, Sezane, you will know how much I love easy French girl style. Well coordinated yet with that thrown together look is so appealing. I have recently discovered and fell in love with another French brand that has come to the US, Ba&sh. Yes, I did spell that correctly. Ba&sh stands for the founders names Barbara and Sharon. It is a collection made for the modern woman. The styles are very wearable and comfortable. Lots of oversized sweaters, midi dresses, and a great selection of boots! Each piece seems to have it’s own unique detail. In fact I think this is a great line for anyone. Classic, modern, and edgy all in one and made to be combined to suit your own style.

The Sweater

This sweater I’m wearing from Ba&sh is so stunning (here is another beautifully detailed sweater). The rhinestone detail on the back is exquisite. It is so well made that you really have to see it in person to fully appreciate it. Made from 90% wool and 10% cashmere, it is soft, cozy, and warm. Everything I want in a winter sweater. I have a few other pieces from the line and I will say that Ba&sh sizing for sweaters runs slightly large. I do wish it were a little bit smaller. But I’m petite at 5’2″ so the oversized look always looks and feels more oversized on me.

This sweater, being somewhat demure in the front and sexy in the back, is perfect for a date night out or a holiday party with friends. It’s casual yet not casual at all. It has all the requirements of French girl chic. I paired this look with velvet jeans however a leather pencil skirt and ankle booties would be my second choice! And as a matter of fact, will be my New years Eve look this year! Here’s a similar option that is currently in stock!
