Brunch is a special meal. I always love brunch occasions. For some reason, they are as exciting to me as attending a wedding. That might sound over the top but it’s true. It’s the perfect excuse for having coffee too late in the day (I never have coffee past 10:00 am), mixing eggs with some Chicken Marsala, and having chocolate covered strawberries. I love styling brunch outfits too. Something about brunch just says “dressy” to me.

You might be wondering what you should wear for brunch? It’s always best to be a little over-dressed than under-dressed, in my opinion. Plus, it’s a fun to have an excuse to get a little dressed up. The easiest way to pull off a super-classy and stylish brunch outfit is to reach for a Diane Von Furstenberg, otherwise known as DVF, dress. DVF is a special brand for me. Her iconic wrap dress was the first designer piece of clothing I owned. In fact just about every special event in my adult life has taken place wearing a DVF dress. My engagement party, wedding shower, baby shower, twins first birthday party, family weddings, and many other special events. DVF is so classic and timeless. I love that her clothes can be re-worn year after year and are still exciting and fresh.

Outfit Details

This dress I have chosen here has all the Fall vibes going on with the orange, yellow, and burgundy florals. It can easily be taken from a casual family brunch to a dressier event. Paired with my amazing color-block booties from Sezane, it brings out the burgundy and adds more impact. And of course, the bag of the moment, the Shrimps Antonia bag. It’s elegant faux pearls adds a glamorous touch.

So choosing a brunch outfit that you can rely on without much thought is easy. DVF never lets you down. If you are only going to have one outfit to reach for on those brunch occasions, choose a dress. You can change the overall vibe from dressy by wearing pumps, to casual by wearing flats or sneakers, from Spring or Summer by wearing open toe slides, and finally to Fall and Winter by wearing boots. A dress is the most versatile piece you can own. And a DVF dress is a always a classic.
